Pastor Dave offers different email lists that you are invited to sign-up to receive. You always have complete control over which emails you choose to receive, if at all; and your information is not provided to anyone else.
When you click on the link below, that says Sign Up Here, a new window will open where you'll be asked to enter and then verify your email address. If you're email address is already included in our list you'll receive an email instructing you how to change your preferences. If you are a new user (new email address), you'll be taken to a page where you can enter more information, including the specific list(s) you wish to subscribe to:
- Weekly Updates & Reminders
Each week, on Wednesday or Thursday, Pastor Dave will send out a list of all scheduled activities and worship services at Columbia Falls United Methodist Church for the next 7 - 10 days. Special events scheduled 2 - 4 weeks out will also be included. If you want to make sure your church group's activities are included, please make sure the office has record of it at least two weeks prior to the scheduled activity/event.
- General Announcements
These emails are sent only as necessary; they can include special services such as funerals and memorial services, urgent church-wide prayer requests, unexpected change announcements, last minute announcements, etc.
- The Wired Word: Weekly Bible Study
This is the weekly Bible study curriculum provided to Bible study participants. Each Thursday Pastor Dave sends an email, to those on the list, that contains material to be covered in the subsequent Bible Study held each Wednesday at the church (Sept - May). Your participation in the Wednesday group is not required to receive this email, but you are always welcome. Specifics are provided in each week's email. The Bible Study is based on a current news event around which the study and discussions center. Also included are Scripture readings that help lead and center our conversations. This weekly material is appropriate for at-home Bible Study as well.
