Hello church!
Our worship service with Our Savior’s Lutheran church at the Veteran’s Home last Sunday was full and meaningful. We had JUST enough communion bread for all 120 of you, and 15 veterans and staff. We almost had to break into the doughnuts early! We also had 10 children, families, and helpers at Messy Church that afternoon at Marantette Park. It was a full Sunday of worship, fun, and heartfelt connections! Thanks to everyone who helped us organize two great events!
This Sunday will be special, too. Our Board chair Diane Elliott will speak in worship as we launch a Feasibility Survey for a possible future Capital Campaign. Folks attending in person will receive a letter and survey in person. All others will receive the documents in the mail the following week. The Leadership Board and I invite you to read the letter and consider our plan. Please prayerfully respond to this survey by September 7.
