November 2025 Newsletter – Pastor’s Page

Greetings church,

This month we are continue our stewardship series “Our Money Story.” We all have a money story whether we realize it or not. Our experiences and memories shape our relationship with money. Some of us have chapters of shame or fear, core narratives that we may never have enough, or an unconscious belief that our possessions will provide us with safety and security.

In the first part of our series, we spent time remembering our money stories and reflecting on the power of releasing those thoughts or behaviors that have a hold on us. Where might God be speaking a new narrative into the limited stories we have told ourselves? The remainder of our series will invite us to reimagine a different money story for ourselves, our families, and our future. God’s money story includes sharing, liberation, and justice. How might our money stories change in light of God’s Spirit at work in us and among us?

I invite you to prayerfully reflect upon your giving pledge for 2026. We will gather for worship on November 9 at 11am to celebrate God’s gifts and consecrate our commitments for the year ahead. As we navigate an uncertain world, our church desires to stay grounded in God’s steadfast love. Our ministry is an extension of Christ’s hands and spirit. Your gifts make that possible. And as we lean into our capital campaign “For Generations to Come,” we’re committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming sacred space for ourselves, our community, and the next generation.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Jared
