Jared   -

I am back from vacation and enjoyed time away with family. I’m grateful to Rev. Janet, Shirley, and Nancy for their worship leadership last Sunday.

We remember during this time of year that Easter is not just one day, but a 50-day season. The joy and power of the resurrection continue to ripple through our worship, our community, and our lives. In the graphic above, I’ve included a meaningful poem by Rev. Richard Gilbert. In this poem, Pastor Richard draws parallels between the awakening of Easter and the awakening of Creation as we shift from winter to spring. I invite you to prayerfully reflect on this poem. Consider dark “tombs or caverns” you might be experiencing in your life. How is God calling you into resurrection, light, and growth? For Jesus, his early followers, and us – ‘the tomb is no place to stay!’

Easter blessings,

Pastor Jared
