EPIPHANY PARTY – Held on Sunday, Jan. 7 following worship (lunch provided):   A wonderful celebration!    We as Columbia Falls UMC continue to grow into Beloved Community and recognize that we matter to one another and to God.  God has gifted each of us with resources to share with the church and community.  Let’s celebrate thoughtful generosity of prayers, presence, gifts and service that through them we might increase our faith, hope and love.  And with God’s help might we continue to live into our mission of bringing peace to the world which begins with peace in the heart, the family and in the home.

CHOIR CANTATA – held December 17 during worship at 11:00 am:  The CFUMC Choir presented a Christmas Cantata entitled “The Winter Rose” by Joseph Martin, this musical incorporates both traditional carols and newly composed anthems that visit the timeless Christmas story with fresh insight.  It presents the birth and life of Christ from prophecy to passion.  What a  talented Choir!  The Cantata was beautiful!!  We celebrated afterwards with cake!

Columbia Falls UMC celebrated 125th Anniversary!  On July 31, 2017 Columbia Falls United Methodist Church had a wonderful worship with guest preacher Bishop Karen Oliveto as part of an entire weekend of celebration events …Luci Yeats, lay historian, led a team for approximately a year to gather history and translate it to the present life of the church. Her team reached out to former pastors, to friends, and members both past and present to encourage people to attend.

In faith, we witnessed to thousands in the street on Saturday from our float during the Columbia Falls’ Heritage Days parade, over 200 during an ice cream social, 18 on Saturday night during our vespers service, and 98 on Sunday morning during worship. Following worship, we celebrated with a brunch and program that highlighted ministries of the past and present, and recognized individuals active in ministry for over 60 years.
